Keith was born in Philadelphia to African American parents and grew up in a middle class suburb of Metro-Atlanta. After High school, being quarterback and a 3-sport letterman, this propelled him to the University of Georgia where he was pre-law and political science major. He became a High School teacher and coach, teaching political science and history while coaching football, baseball, basketball, and golf. Then became a corporate trainer teaching Fortune 100 upper management,
