We are urgently casting the pivotal co-lead role of KARL for Paranormal Salad: Into the Unknown, the live-action supernatural horror series expanding the world of the acclaimed audio drama Paranormal Salad: The Dressing.
This is NOT a background or side role. Karl is the second lead and a central figure across the entire franchise, including audio dramas, live-action features, and podcast appearances. 80% of production is already cast and the first half of the podcast season is currently airing.

Karl is the emotionally complex, skeptical co-lead of Paranormal Salad: Into the Unknown. A sound tech and reluctant investigator, Karl serves as the audience’s voice of logic—until the evidence becomes too overwhelming. His sarcastic exterior hides deep empathy, vulnerability, and past trauma that slowly unfolds as the series progresses.
While initially portrayed as the “nonbeliever,” Karl’s arc is one of emotional unraveling, acceptance, and awakening. He is a grounded, lovable realist whose queerness is acknowledged, not exploited. His bisexuality is part of who he is—not a plot point, but an organic layer of the character’s identity and relationships.
