Project Synopsis:
Bloodwood is an intense exploration of addiction and generational trauma wrapped in a survival horror narrative. The story delves into the psychological and physical struggles of the protagonist as he confronts both literal and metaphorical demons.

Role: Steve (Lead Actor)

• Character Description: Steve is a complex character battling personal demons rooted in addiction and family history. The role requires intense emotional and physical scenes, including interactions with Steve’s inner struggles manifested in both literal and metaphorical forms.
• Requirements:
• Male, 25–40 years old
• Latino or Indigenous-coded character
• Physically fit and comfortable with action-oriented scenes
• Stunt training and/or martial arts experience is a plus
• Ability to portray deep emotional turmoil and character development
• Willingness to engage in scenes involving simulated combat and psychological distress
• Collaborative spirit and openness to creative input

Additional Information:

• This project serves as a teaser trailer for our upcoming crowdfunding campaign.
• While the position is unpaid, participants will receive meals, gas reimbursement, and a wrap party.
• Ideal for actors passionate about horror and looking for a project that really pushes boundaries.
