voice over female 45+

Seeking a female between the ages of 45-65 for a voice role for an audiobook for teachers. Non-union. Pay is $75 per hour: paying one hour for you to rehearse on your own plus at least two hours in my studio. Must have acting experience. Want a SLIGHT Mexican-American accent (it must sound natural). I don't need photos. You will be playing the part of a smart, funny, 61 year Mexican-American woman.

To audition please email me an audio sample of your voice performing the following lines (you may use your phone to record): {speaking to an audience of 300 nine-year-old students} “Wow! I love your enthusiasm! But since this show is about kindness, let’s be kind to your teachers’ eardrums. This time, answer with just as much enthusiasm, but at half the volume. Half as loud."

And record this sample too please: {the character is speaking to the custodian and joking about the cookies} “No problem, Joe. I brought my own little P.A. I’ve got everything I need... except my contract says I’m supposed to get cookies backstage. I didn’t see any.”

The recording session will be done in Woodland Hills, CA.
