Diva Airways: The Life & Times of A Dysfunctional Airline

FlightTime Productions proudly presents auditions for the upcoming Fall Play comedy farce “Diva Airways: The Life & Times of A Dysfunctional Airline”.

We are seeking cast members of all kinds: adult men, women and children. Must be 16+ to audition for the production.

For auditions, please prepare a 1-minute monologue of your choice. Preferably a comedic or dramatic monologue that can show your talent range. Please note, improvisation skills are definitely important for the production.

If cast, there will be rehearsal schedule meeting to discuss availability as well as the show schedule. A stipend will be paid out to all actors involved in the production.

Performances are scheduled for October 24-26, 2025. The performance location will be in multiple theatres throughout the city of Seattle!

Characters available:

Narrator- Male or Female, 16+ y/o

The narrator of the story, introduces the production and ends the production, also makes small cameos as other characters in the show.

Ava Winters- Female, 16+ y/o

The always early, always calm personal assistant and secretary to Loretta, organized and very well motivated as a Diva Airways employee. Loves giving advice to those who need it.

Loretta VanBuren- Female, 40+ y/o

The sassy, unorganized and over the top CEO and President of Diva Airways, has top notch authority and egocentric leadership. Wants to go on a journey to find herself again.

Rita Harper-Cordova- Female, 40+ y/o

The always late, dramatic fashionista of a Customer Service Manager, Loretta’s best friend from High School, snotty and over dramatic to everyone except for Loretta. Wants to change policies a lot.

Damien VanBuren- Male, 16+ y/o

The operations supervisor, Loretta’s only child who wants nothing more then to have more time with her without the ever growing airline getting in the way of everything.

Jeremy Anderson- Male, 40+ y/o

The newly elected airport President, evil and tries to gain access to the Diva Airways empire. Loretta’s estranged ex-husband and Damien’s father, arrogant and wants the money that’s “owed”.

Gigi- Female, 16+ y/o

The assistant to Jeremy, awkward and loves to have hilarious moments within the scenes. Jeremy sets her up to spy on Loretta and Damien and makes her blend in on purpose.

Amelia Evans- Female, 16+ y/o

The timid, kind and loyal customer service agent who’s brand new to the airline. Idolizes Loretta and always wanted to meet her in person, falls in love with a ramp service agent.

Nathaniel Harper- Male, 16+ y/o

The handsome, masculine and charming ramp service agent for Diva Airways, bad boy reputation who falls in love with Amelia after meeting her in a tough position over his attendance.
