This is a Paid Casting Call

Logline: In three different versions of reality, a young woman navigates adulthood, love, and the death of her childhood dog.

Filming dates/times:

April 18th - 11am- 5pm ( Rehearsals )

April 19th - 11am- 5pm

April 20th - 11am- 5pm

April 26th - 10am - 3pm

April 27th - 10am - 3pm

Locations : Rehearsals will be in Weeksville Heritage Center while the actual shoot will be in different locations but within Brooklyn.

Compensations: $450/ day for Leads and $350/day for Secondary Roles.Lunch to be provided on set plus iMdB credits.

Roles breakdown:

SARA (lead): Female 21-28

23; Intensely empathetic and stubbornly herself, Sara is a woman who grew up in a small town in Vermont. She struggles to let go of and simultaneously reclaim her past while figuring out how to move into the future. She graduated college one year ago and had been trying to adapt to adult life. Driving is required.

Veronica : Female 21-28

Independent, fun-loving, and elusive, Veronica is Sara, the main character’s, best friend from college. Their love for each other borders on something more. Veronica is about to graduate from undergrad in a month.

Dalton : Male 23-30

Hard-working, soft-spoken, and direct, Dalton tries to build a life with Sara, the main character, as they both struggle to understand themselves and each other. Must be able to drive.

Noah: Male 23-30

Kind hearted family man. Settled down at a young age to start a family with his high school girlfriend.

Brenda: Female 23-30

25; Quiet and hard working. Family oriented, she married her high school sweetheart and started a family with him in her early 20s.

Matt: Male 23-30

25; lives in his hometown and has some resentment towards his friends who have done more with their lives that he has. He has a dead-end job and is pretty insecure.

Mick: Male 45-65

In his 50s, lived in a small town his whole life, doesn’t necessary see what his son Dalton sees in city life. His father-in-law just died and he has been trying to support his wife and himself in their grief.

Anne: Female 45-65

In her 50s, lived in a small town her whole life, and doesn’t necessarily see what her son Dalton sees in city life. Her father had just died and she had to organize his funeral.

Ahmed: Male 23-28

22; college student. About to graduate with a degree in graphic design. Loves to party-go out with his friends.

Morgan 25-35

Outgoing and artsy, Morgan is an adult living in brooklyn. They spend their time going to shows and hanging out with friends.
